Hey y'all, it's me again! I'm hanging out with Pushkin, the coolest cat ever. Love her to bits and pieces. :)
I am here to remind you that I am participating in the Overnight Walk that supports the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention [AFSP] in June. On the night straddling June 4th & 5th, a few hundred, if not a few thousand of us will be walking approximately 18 miles. We all have trained and raised $1000 each (hopefully) to support AFSP's fight against suicide.
So far, I am up to $545, which is just over halfway towards my $1000 goal! I'm trying hard to think of ways to make fundraising fun. One idea is that for my birthday, I have a dinner/cocktail night at my house and instead of a card and/or gift, people put $5 towards my final goal. That way, my friends are giving a gift that means something. And, on a day that is celebrating a person's life!
If you feel inclined to make a tax deductible donation, please stop by my Donation Page and help me reach my goal! Many thanks in advance to everyone who is able to make a donation, no matter the size!
